Iklim classic
September 16, 2008
Simile is a form of literary language. It can and is interpreted in many ways.
I was listening to Suci Dalam Debu the other day. It started of by going, engkau bagai air yang jernih, di dalam bekas yang berdebu. There’s a chance that one day, this simile would be interpreted as,
a transparent beautiful girl with horrible dusty makeup.

Suggestion: listen, not watch. I love songs that get me pumped. Especially sexy ones. When I heard the song below, it didn’t hit me what it was about. Just the way it sounded, was sexy. The beat, arrangement, composition. Note that I find the song sexy, not the video which was such a turnoff for me.
It occurred to me that when I was an intern at the ICRC, I was never asked whether I was familiar with the First Aid Kit. Not that bad of an irony, I suppose, being in the Academic Circles Unit. Good times.

Don’t stop for a change of plans
August 20, 2008
*Btw, RWP got a blurb in The Star yesterday.

Change of plans, we will be on the NTV7 Breakfast Show on Friday at 9am, instead of Wednesday.
By we, it means Cake Crumbs slave & Fly FM radio announcer – Jules Tang, RA frontman & madman – Zain HD, & writer for Tongue In Chic – Joyce Wong @ Kinky Blue Fairy. Massive thanks to Yasmin Rasyid of Eco Knights and Susan Tan for helping RWP score this gig. :)

.
Coincidentally, today is Wednesday and it’s time to share a song. A song I’ve been mad over the past two weeks.
Three people cross my mind when I hear this. Biresh Vrajlal, Michelle Gunaselan & Sarah Chan. All because of Joyce requesting this, one of her favs, everytime there’s a Cat Got Your Tongue night.

Dream
August 6, 2008
I am meant to start a weekly post something within the lines of, sexy song of the moment. Meaning, once a week, there will be one song, that RA will highlight. And odds are, the theme, is sexy. However, to kickstart, I’m not sure if this one can be qualified as sexy (ironically).
But this joint is bangin. Up the bass, on the woofer.
*I strongly suggest you to listen to it, without watching the ‘video’.
